Dr. Abdelkareem Elgoni is a medical doctor; besides his medical and clinical specialty, he also has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, focusing on policy advocacy, project management, and social change. He has worked extensively across Southern Africa, leading cross-border HIV/AIDS and health development initiatives under SADC and DFID programs. His expertise spans strategic partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building from national to community levels. Providing strategic guidance in implementation of the National strategic health development plan and the State operational plans. He guided UNICEF – Nigeria providing medical and technical support to the customization of the marginal budgeting for bottlenecks (MBB) Tool in costing, budgeting and development of investment cases in the different programs. As Vice President for Medical affairs, Dr. Elgoni will help advice Zanjed Medica on medical needs and relevant expertise.
